Relander lets Ron Andrews, supervisor with the Department of Fish and Game, know that he has a freezer ready for deer or elk, when available, in order to preserve them for the first foods feast around Easter and a mid-winter feast around Christmas. He repeats his request, from an earlier letter, for deer hides.
