Abstract
Relander promised Cluff, with The Oregon Journal, recipient, an explanation for the call he'd given him earlier that day about newspaper business. He also includes a circular for Drummers and Dreamers and talks about the book. The letter ends, "This seems a roundabout explanation for the followthrough I promised. I didn't think of it that way when I phoned. It would have been much easier to put it out via AP but the filer was out to lunch and I was swamped on the desk at the time."
