Abstract
Relander needs Puck Hyah Toot and Johnny Buck, recipients, to "dress up good like Indians, maybe bring buckskin shirts along. Wear clean clothing. Bring drum." Relander will say only good things to a big group who are in town. He needs them to sing, as well. He needs them to do it a second time, in December, as well. There is also a meeting with sons of the men who work with Relander. "They meet with their fathers and 'play Indians.' This is just a friendly gesture." Things are going for the Wanapums, and Relander will update them at dinner after the first speech.
