Abstract

Letter sent to Albert Culverwell, historian with the State Parks and Recreation Commission, which starts with information about the Wanapums and Priest Rapids site. Relander's interest is that the Wanapums get a home, without obstructing progress. Relander and Dean Guie agree that the recipient should proceed with a Fort Simcoe paper, but he feels that there is enough subject matter there that they might still write one of their own, at some point. Dean would like a letter he provided withheld. Relander is interested in the preservation of the rock paintings at the Dalles. Information about speeches Relander has been given. Relander mentioned the recipient's name as able to give advice to planners in Ephrata. He is still sculpting flatheads and Concomley, more than he can manage.
